Use of PrintScreen for some fun

You know the use of Print screen button on the keyboard [present on top right above insert] .
It captures the screen , right ?
But now I will tell you how to use it for some fun .
Take screen shot of the desktop by pressing Print Screen on the desktop .
Go to Paint and paste this .
Save it .
For Windows XP users

1) On the desktop right click -----> arrange icons by ----> De-select 'Show Desktop Icons '.
2) Now right click the taskbar and select properties .
3) Check auto hide the taskbar. Click OK.
4) Now change your wallpaper and keep the one you saved earlier.
5) If paint is not closed, select File ---------> 'Set as background (Centered) '.
Now on the desktop even if you click any icon nothing will happen !!!
Now do I need to tell youhow you can use it for fun on someone else's PC ?
To revert back to normalcy change the wallpaper and select 'show desktop icons' on the right click menu .

How to Restart Windows without Restarting your PC

When you click on the SHUTDOWN button,
make sure to simultaneous press SHIFT Button.
If you hold the Shift key down while clicking on SHUTDOWN button,
you computer would restart without restarting the Computer.
This is equivalent to term "HOT REBOOT".

Use the Notepad as your personal diary

There is a simple feature in Notepad that can make it work like a personal diary for you.Here is how to go about it:

1.Firstly open a blank Notepad file.
2. Now write .LOG as the first line in the file, then press enter. Now save the file and close it.
3.Open the notepad file now and you will find that the current date and time has been
appended (put) at the end and the cursor is in the next line.
4. Type your notes and then save and close the file.
5. Each time you open the file, Notepad repeats the process,that is it appends the date and time
to the end of the file and places the cursor below it.

Make your folders invisible...:)

1)Right Click on the desktop. Make a new folder
2)Now rename the folder with a space(You have to hold ALT key and type 0160 from NUMPAD).
3)Now u have a folder with out a name.
4)Right click on the folder>properties>customize. Click on change icon.
5)Scroll a bit, u should find some empty spaces, Click on any one of them.
click ok Thats it,

now u can store ur personal data without any 3rd party tools

Make frnds scare for FAKE VIRUS

Open notepad and type this:

lol=msgbox ("Warning a virus has been detected on your PC. Press YES to format your hard disk now or press NO to format your hard disk after system reboot",20,"Warning")

Then save it as Virus.VBS

and go to the folder that contains it and open it if a window pops out saying a virus has been detected it's working. Press yes or no to close the window and put it in the startup folder of the victim's account.
On startup the window should appear.
Note: This does not harm your computer as it does not contain virus.

The Yes and no button does not do anything except closing the window. And you can edit the virus in the sentence: Warning a virus has detected on your PC to any kind of virus eg.Trojan Horse like this lol=msgbox ("Warning a Trojan horse has been detected on your PC. Press YES to format your hard disk now or press NO to format format your hard disk after system reboot",20,"Warning")

Oh in between make sure your victim does not panic and really reformat his harddisk. hahaha :)

1. Click start
click run
type regedit,
then click ok!

2. In The registry editor, drill down to the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current version\Winlogon.

3. Right click LegalNoticeCaption,
click modify,
Type: THIS IS NEXT TRICK(ur msg),and then click ok!

4. Right click legalNoticeText,
click modify, and then Close your message!

5. Restart Your Computer.

6. The message will appear every time you logon!

A trick to add up ur name in place of AM and PM beside time

Hi freinds !
I m here to tell u a trick to add up ur name in place of AM and PM beside time and make urself to feel proud among ur group of frnds.
Its simple

Start -> Control Panel -> Regional and Language option -> Addtional Settings -> Go to TIME tab -> Change AM symbol and PM symbol from AM and PM to ur name -> Apply -> Ok 

Error Reporting in XP

How to Disable Scan and Fix Removable Disk Window in Windows?

Like to get rid of the pop up window which appears as soon as you insert your removable disc which asks for scan and fix?

Follow these simple steps, which guide you to disable scan and fix Removable Disc window. Method 1st:----

Step 1:

Click on start menu or open Run command prompt and type msconfig and either hit enter or click on OK button.

Step 2: 

On performing this action, a new window will appear on your screen, as shown in below image, in this window click on services tab.

Step 3:

In this services tab, you need to find a checkbox labeled as Shell hardware Detection.

To disable this window uncheck this box and click on apply and restart your system.

After restarting your system insert Removable drive. And check for popup windows.

Method 2nd:--

Step 1:

Click on start menu or open Run command prompt and type services.msc and either hit enter or click on OK button.

 Step 2:

On performing any of the action, a new window will appear on your screen, as shown in below image:

In this window search for Shell hardware Detection file.

Step 3:

 Now double click on this file, on double clicking, a new window will appear on your screen, as shown in below image.

In this new window you can find a dropdown menu labeled as Startup type, click on this dropdown menu.

By default startup type will be set to Automatic; change it to Disabled or Manual and click on either apply or Ok button and restart your system.

These are method of disabling removable disc scan and fix window. Now, I hope this Removable disc scan and fix window doesn’t appear.

View Facebook Images In High Resolution And In Full Screen

Facebook is the most famous, most used and most engaging social networking site. It always come up with new features with its users. I am noticing from Past few months that it is improving the photo viewing experience by making its photo viewer capability stronger than ever.
Recently Facebook has come up with two new features to its photo viewing Service. High resolution and full screen view of images. According to the news these features will work only on Google Chrome and Mozilla firefox browser.

According Techcrunch, Facebook has improved its sRGB color profile of images so that the colors in images will look vivid without slow down in loading.

To get the full page preview you just need to open any image in theater view and click on the the arrow where I red marked in the screenshot. As soon as you click on this you will be taken to the full photo view. You canretain previous view by pressing ESC.

Use Profile Image As Facebook Chat Emoticon

There are so many social networking site on the web such as Facebook, Myspace, ibibo, Google+, So.cl (Latest social networking site from Microsoft) etc.
But among all these Facebook stands out and the best social networking site of the world. Each and every person who use internet, must be using Facebook to connect with their friends, family etc. Google+ is doing few good things too but It seems that there is everything which is used by Facebook earlier so it seems to be the copy of Facebook, But Both are good in their own way.
The competition among the social sites is going crazy and that is the reason we keep on getting so many new innovative things and technologies.  Today I am here to tell you one of the innovative implementation of Facebook and that is for FB chat.
Yes, The new thing is related to facebook chat. We can call it as
“ Facebook custom emotion”. You all already know about facebook chat and emotions such as smiley etc
So What is New in the chat emotions?
The new thing in the emotions is that you can now send your or any other’s profile image to anyone via chat as emotion.
How to achieve it?
Its very simple to get it by following these steps:-
Just Go to your profile or any other profile or any official page you want to use as an emotion.
See the url and copy the username or if there is no username specified then copy the profile id. For example http://www.facebook.com/techtrickssworld. From this url you need to copy techtrickssworld.
Just paste this in chat window within double brackets such as [[techtrickssworld]] and send it to your friend then the profile id associated with the username or profile id will show in chat box. Here In this case I choose the fan page name and Now I have tried with my frnds profile id and that is atish.ranjan. See the image below. (I took this from here http://www.facebook.com/atish.ranjan)

 After Hitting Enter The code interprets the profile images:-

This will show only on web pages. If you will access chat from your phone or facebook apps then image emotion will not be displayed and instead of this the normal bracketed text will display as[[techtrickssworld]]. However You can send such emotions from any mobile or FB apps But it will display only on webpages.

One more thing this image emotion workes only in chat window. You cannot use it in comments, status update or wall posts. So just Enjoy chatting with your custom emotions.
