How to Disable Scan and Fix Removable Disk Window in Windows?

Like to get rid of the pop up window which appears as soon as you insert your removable disc which asks for scan and fix?

Follow these simple steps, which guide you to disable scan and fix Removable Disc window. Method 1st:----

Step 1:
Click on start menu or open Run command prompt and type msconfig and either hit enter or click on OK button.

Step 2: 
On performing this action, a new window will appear on your screen, as shown in below image, in this window click on services tab.




Step 3:
In this services tab, you need to find a checkbox labeled as Shell hardware Detection.
To disable this window uncheck this box and click on apply and restart your system.

After restarting your system insert Removable drive. And check for popup windows.



Method 2nd:--

Step 1:
Click on start menu or open Run command prompt and type services.msc and either hit enter or click on OK button.


 Step 2:
On performing any of the action, a new window will appear on your screen, as shown in below image:
In this window search for Shell hardware Detection file.
Step 3:
 Now double click on this file, on double clicking, a new window will appear on your screen, as shown in below image.
In this new window you can find a dropdown menu labeled as Startup type, click on this dropdown menu.
By default startup type will be set to Automatic; change it to Disabled or Manual and click on either apply or Ok button and restart your system.
These are method of disabling removable disc scan and fix window. Now, I hope this Removable disc scan and fix window doesn’t appear.
